About this resource

This resource, informed by research undertaken in Tasmania in 2018, is designed to be used by allied health professionals.

It provides an overview of our current understanding of women's attitudes to cannabis consumption during pregnancy, with clear guidelines advising hot to use gender responsive approaches when working with pregnant women to address cannabis use during pregnancy.

This resource has an accompanying plain language handout, Questions about Cannabis, that can be provided to pregnant women by the health professional.
