Our Educators are experienced and compelling speakers with in-depth knowledge of alcohol and other drug-related issues and topics.

We provide Tasmanians with the information they need to prevent and reduce harms caused by alcohol and other drugs.

How does it work?

Requesting a speaker for your conference or forum is easy:

  1. Fill out the form on the right to submit your request.
  2. Within 2 business days, you'll receive an email with next steps and your request number.
  3. When your request is at the top of the queue, one of our Educators will be in contact to talk to you in detail about your needs.
  4. At the time of confirming dates for your conference or forum session you will be issued an invoice for the booking fee: once payment is received, your booking will be confirmed.

Evidence-based alcohol and other drug information

Whether you're interested in best-practice drug education, stigma and discrimination reduction and prevention, or general alcohol and other drug health promotion information, we can work with you to provide an engaging presentation that meets the needs of your event.

All activities, resources, education and training sessions provided by the Drug Education Network are supported by evidence-based sources and developed to suit a Tasmanian audience.

Make a booking

DEN’s attendance at conferences and forums are provided to your organisation at no cost thanks to funding from the Tasmanian Government.

The sessions do however attract a minimal booking fee of $55 (GST inclusive) to cover the administrative costs of arranging the session.

Please note we are funded to provide services for Tasmania. Invitations to present interstate will require special consideration.
