About this resource

The Drug Education Network (DEN) presents the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Peer Worker Implementation Guide (the Guide) for the Tasmanian Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Sector, Community Service and Justice Sectors. The guide is developed with a Tasmanian-specific context in mind, and provides reflections,

guidelines and processes for incorporating peer work as a complementary practice, embedded within AOD service delivery across the state.

As best practice, organisations seeking to implement AOD Peer Workers into their workplaces are strongly encouraged to undertake Organisational Readiness Training. For enquiries, please email us at admin@den.org.au.
