About this resource

The Alcohol and Other Drug Brief Intervention Framework for Tasmania was developed in 2018 in partnership with the Promotion, Prevention and Early Intervention (PPEI) Advisory Group. The framework was developed to create a shared understanding of brief interventions and their use in Tasmania.

This framework provides evidence-based practice suggestions to promote best-practice brief intervention practice for Tasmanian people affected by alcohol, tobacco and other drug use.
