About this resource

The storytelling dice are a tactile resource designed to help you start conversations about alcohol and other drugs (AOD). You can create and explore stories, scenarios, and hypothetical situations, or use them to establish shared knowledge or to open up a conversation.

Included in this edition are the Driver Dice. Use these extra dice to enhance your storytelling, or use them to aid and support conversations about drug use and driving. They are a great review tool for any learner driver.

To use them, simply roll the dice and test what you and others know about the topic prompts pictured on the dice, or use the images to create a story about keeping safe, refusal strategies, or any kind of alcohol and other drug topic.

This resource is ideal for use in a wide variety of settings and is particularly useful for people who speak English as a second language, people preparing for their Learners license, or for use within an educational or school setting.

Use the printable Story Card to record and share your stories!
